Welcome to the sign up and donation page for the 2025 GIFT Of LIFE CHARITY RUN & SCAVENGER HUNT. 24 MAY 2025 From 10:30am

This event is a car based team event, which involves a 180km drive across some of the Manawatu / Rangitikei’s best roads. Along the way there are tasks and goals to achieve, and adventure awaits. This is not a Race. Fastest team does not win. It’s a fun Family based event to raise awareness for Blood and Organ donation as well as raising funds for Hearty Towers (transplant unit of Auckland hospital)

The Charity Run Entry is $50. Which includes the following-

-A $30 DONATION – to Hearty Towers

-1 COMPLEMENTARY Coffee – from ‘Berries & Beans’ Coffee Cart

-ADVENTURE ‘PACK’ – this is your Guide, and map, including objectives.

-A MYSTERY GIFT- a small token of appreciation.

-1 COMPLIMENTARY DRINK  – Halcombe tavern. Beer, wine, RTD or coke range.

Starting at REPCO 915 Tremaine Ave,  Palm Nth – from 10:30am with the Hardpark and Pre Start briefing.

Berries & Beans coffee cart will be open. Spot Prizes on the day. Check out some cool rides and most importantly some great yarns, while raising awareness and funds for a worthwhile cause.

From here we will venture forth.  There will be at least 10 objectives on your mission. These will be entered into a scoring system, the more you achieve the better your score. There will be spot prizes as well as prizes for the most points. – you must be registered to get a mission pack.

Wrapping up at the Historic HALCOMBE TAVERN, Stanway Road, Halcombe. Be sure to take in your voucher for that ice cold drink.

We will have prize giving, spot prizes, a mini car show, and more great yarns. The Halcombe Tavern have great food, if you are feeling hungry stay and grab a bite to eat.

A Minimum Of $30 from each ticket will be Donated to  ‘Hearty Towers’ – a home away from home for New Zealanders and their families undergoing testing or surgery related to a heart or lung transplant.

Our goal is to raise awareness for the need to donate the ‘GIFT OF LIFE’ and support the work that the Organ Donation NZ and NZ Blood do. These organisations SAVE LIVES. If you’re not an Organ Donor yet please consider it next time you renew your licence.
